Most straightforward NCT failures are quoted the same day and booked for the earliest slot that suits — often within the same working week, subject to parts availability.

Do you guarantee same-week repairs?

No. We aim for it and hit it often, but parts supply, weather and workload mean we won't promise something we can't control. You'll always get a realistic date up front.

Question 3

Can you repair every NCT failure?

Accepted Answer

No. Green-light jobs like brakes, suspension, steering links, lighting and sensors suit mobile work. Clutches, gearboxes, structural welding and major crash repair need a workshop.

Question 4

Do I need to bring the car anywhere?

No — that's the point. We come to you. You only travel for the NCT retest itself.

Question 5

Can you work on my driveway?

Accepted Answer

Yes, provided it's private property, flat, hard, safe and there's enough space to work around the vehicle.

Question 6

What happens if the NCT says Dangerous?

A vehicle with a dangerous defect should not be driven on public roads. Tell us on the intake form and we'll treat the job accordingly.

Can I send my NCT report before booking?

Please do. Sending the fail sheet first is the fastest route to an accurate quote.

Do you supply parts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We source parts from trade suppliers locally and quote parts and labour separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

Can I supply my own parts?

In some cases, yes — but we can't warranty customer-supplied parts and we may decline if the part isn't suitable.

What payment methods are accepted?

Cash, card, bank transfer and Revolut.

What area do you cover?

Tullamore and roughly 10km around it as standard. Further out is possible with a call-out fee.
